*You see Billy dressed in black jeans and one of his
patented phycodelic shirts. He is standing in front of
a house, alone, playing his guitar.* *For the beginning you see him playing his guitar sadly and looking back and forth from his guitar, to the camera as it travels in through a window into a kitchen where you see a small boy, maybe 7, standing on a counter looking through the cabinets.* (Hungry, hungry again.) *The boy continues to look through the cabinets and you see his face. He looks unkempt and disheveled.* (Hungry, hungry again.) *The camera is now facing the boy from in the cabinet. He lifts out a bowl and then drops it and it shatters on the floor. He looks up frightened as he jumps down to pick up the pieces.* (When will it start to sway.) *You see a shadow looming above the kneeling boy as he looks up.* (When will it start.) *You see Billy outside still as he looks into the camera.* (.to almost break you.) *The shadow is the boys' father and he slaps him across the face and you see him yelling at the boy.* (Hungry, hungry again. Hungry, hungry again.) *You see an older version of the boy, about 15 or so, now standing in front of a mirror crying slightly as he looks at his reflection. He wipes his tears as he turns from his reflection* (I'll miss you. But I don't wish you luck. Well I forgive you) *The boy climbs out his window carrying a guitar case. He walks out into the yard and looks back through the window at his father, sitting on the couch.* (I don't wish you, away.) *You see Billy singing, yet again, sadly as he looks from guitar to camera.* (.away, away.) *You see the boy resting his head against a window of a bus as he looks out at the night sky.* (It'll almost break you, almost take you, almost break you, almost break you up.) *You see the boys' father worriedly checking the boys room, bathroom, and then finally breaking down crying on the couch, realizing that he had driven his son away.* *Finish with Billy sitting in the boys room playing his guitar. He doesn't look up until the very end, when he looks at the camera, tears in his eyes, for about 3 seconds and then looks down slowly.* *FADE OUT* By Patty Blair : OwenaX24@yahoo.com |
