It starts off in a dark room whose only light is from the window. The light
only provides enough light to see half Billy's face.
*"I peer through curtains on empty streets..."*
It's gets a little brighter in the room just so you can see Billy tilting
his head out the window as he sings. On the window sill nect to him is a
normal looking radio(but it's not on.)
*"No one's out there to see if I care..."*
Shows the rainy streets and one or two people are rushing to find shelter.
*"...about the troubles in the air."*
Shows a semi-quick shot of the night sky.
*"As I of the morning now come..."*
He gets up and begins his spasmic arm and body motions he does in the
"everlasting gaze"promo video while walking(or pacing)around the room.
*"I blow the dust off my guitars..."*
He walks over to a table where there is a guitar and he wipes a smudge off
of it.
*"...in the attic with the stars."*
Sorry,no attic, but he looks to the walls where he has hung those
glow-in-th-dark stars you can hang on your ceiling.
*"I read your letters..."*
He glances at the bed where papers are scattered around. Then it shows his
face briefly and you can see a tear in the right eye.
*"As I of the morning..."*
He half-sits on the table holding the guitar as he croons.
*"I sit in the dark light..."
Both windows shatter as Billy jumps from his spot and puts his arm over his
head.
*"What is it you want..."*
The wind is gusting in as Billy proudly stands up and sings the rest of the
song against the wind. When the music is fading Billy has ended up by the
sill on which the radio sat.He picks it up and throws it on the
ground, smashing the cheaply-made entertainment device. He smirks and walks
out of the room and the video fades out. By David Baughman : spaceboyrocket@mad.scientist.com This is seriously the picture i got in my mind when i heard this song. EXACT. Billy is sitting at a desk in an apartment looking out the window (no one is outside, hence the line "i peer thru curtains on empty streets). The room is all red. Billy, mysteriously, has short black hair (like early-mellon collie era), and is wearing his machina/adore era garb. At the first "As i of the mourning now go" The band is playing in a basement type room, black walls (Billy is bald again in these shots). To move between scenes fast animation techniques. At the next "as the radio plays my favorite song", zoom back to billy in the apartment. At the start of the solo, zoom back to the band again. At the end of the solo, zoom back to billy again, this time with guitar in hand. He begins playing the same guitar used in the base ment shots. At "as i of the mourning now go" zoom to the band again. at "what is it you want" zoom back to billy, now standing up throwing the items on the desk out the window (including his guitar). At "radio radio radio" zoom back to the band. Af! ter this set of "radio"'s are done, begin moving rapidly between billy and the band. At the end when it calms down, the band and billy are mysteriously gone. By Dethrockboy@aol.com |
