 Billy had this to say about the song in an interview done for SheKnows.com in August of 2005: Now that's a weird one. Besides "All Things Change," I think this song captures what I was trying to say emotionally and sonically with the album. But it's a strange song and I don't even know what I'm trying to say exactly. It's definitely a feeling-based song and not at all intellectualized.
