February 21, 2008 - Olympiahalle - Munich, Germany Concert review by Gareth Law (Gatesy1 at yahoo dot com) I origionally came to see Queens of the Stonage on 20th Feb, but managed to het surprise tickets to see Smashing pumpkins for 30 euro's a pop outside the concert!! I couldn't believe it!! We got in and I was amazed, the place was heaving and the perfect venue. After the support band, I awaited the main band on stage, well worth the wait! They played there hearts out, and I would say it was the best gig i've ever been too! And I've seen so many bands!!! Billy continued to entertain all night, and Jimmy was excellent on drums! The new guitarest knows his stuff, and what a sight for my eyes, the bassist is soooo hot!! The addition of the keyboard player was godly!! In all I loved every minute of it and can't wait to see them at Rock Am Ring later this year. And as Billy elegantly said " We are never splitting up again" I'm sure there will be loads more tricks in store. Thank you Smashing Pumpkins, you made my night so special!!! Gareth A.H. Law
