February 10, 2008 - Kings Hall - Belfast, N. Ireland
Concert review by pete (peetsi at hotmail dot com)

i loved the way the gig started with porcelina of the vast oceans. that blew me away.billys voice is amazing live.

i loved the way it ended with cherub rock, that blew me away.note for note, even the solo.thanks billy!

somewhere in the middle, billy digressed by himself with the guitar and some effects and some people around me were complaining that he should hurry up and play another song, but i loved that part. so intense.

i am so lucky to have seen them on their first ever visit to Belfast.
im not very confident that the feeling in the crowd was as good as it should have been, but as far as energies go, i know i was sending out and feeling some great vibes.

i was surprised that they played rhinocerous.very pleasantly surprised.Gish made an amazing debut..

the new bassist and guitarist didnt seem to get so "into" the older songs they were never a apart of as much as they did the tracks played from zeitgeist that they helped write, but thats understandable.

despite the crowd cheering and chanting "Zero - Zero - Zero" - they didnt play Zero. i loved that part. (just like i loved how Queens of the stone age didnt play noone knows a few nights previous in the same venue)

p.s. - if anyone has the playlist from the belfast show could they get in touch with me about it please? im planning to make a compilation cd of the gig tracks for myself.
