October 20, 1995 - Duke Ellington Ballroom - DeKalb, IL, US Concert review by hcoluzzi@sbcglobal.net (hcoluzzi at sbcglobal dot net) i was front row/center for this sold-out, standing-room only show. maybe there was 250 people here. once the show started, the pressure of being pressed by the people onto the gate was crazy. my girlfriend at the time passed out and had to be lifted out by security and brought to the side. i stayed because i couldn't give up my front row/center spot. the show was obviously awesome and i'll always feel as if i picked the encore song, hummer, to be played. as it got silent before the encore i kept yelling hummer to iha over and over again. he looked at me, nodded, and then said something to the band. then they played it. so whether it was a coincidence or not, i'll never know...nor will i want to. let me know if you went to this show and/or if you know where i can get a recording. been to many many great shows by lots of bands, but this will always be #1 by a landslide, pun intended.
