August 12, 2008 - Palace Theatre - Louisville, KY Concert review by Josh Went to the Louisville show and I love the Pumpkins. The show was average at best. I like their new stuff, but come on. That is all they played. The guitar feedback is cool at first, but for like 10 minutes straight. I thought I was going to go deaf. I have been to 14 of their shows and I would say this one was the worst. One highlight for me was when they played Mayonaise. I had never heard it live before and it rocked for sure. Another surprise was when Billy gave the microphone to some guy & told him to "say something stupid." The guy said, "Wanna go for a ride?" Nice hint from the audience for them to play Zero and they end with "We only come out at night." Lame ending. If they would add about 5-6 more oldies the kids would be alright. Keep rockin' Pumpkins. Jimmy is bad-ass.
