April 17, 2003 - Mesa Amphitheater - Phoenix, AZ, US
Concert review by Walter (revolution_1977_m at yahoo dot com)

The show was actually at the Marquee Theater, a much smaller venue. I guess this change took place because not enough tickets were sold for Mesa Amph.

The show was really cool - I'd give it a 9/10. The only crappy thing were some of the stupid people in the crowd saying dumb things at different points in the set, but overall Billy was really happy and everything was just right. The band sounds harder live, which is cool.

I was pretty impressed with how tight the band sounds, and also Billy's vocals were basically flawless. His voice sounds better live I think. Lastly, if you go, be prepared to handle the opening act. To be honest, only the first two songs were good. The rest kinda sucked...oh well.

Don't miss Zwan if they come near you. Definetly a first class band nowadays!
