April 9, 2003 - Pompano Amphitheater - Pompano, FL, US Concert review by David (d_zero1 at hotmail dot com) Great show! Pompano is a pretty small ampatheatre and it didnt look like it would fill up but eventually it did and the crowd was into it. Opening act was a tad to Folk-y for me.. ok though... After a long wait listening to ambient techno, Zwan came out and the crowd went nuts... Alot of the songs were from the album.. besides Don't Let me Down, Set this world on fire and another cover, all pretty much from Mary Star... Billy was really into Jesus, I... funny seeing Matt and Pajo just look at him just play that guitar like a madman... took a picture to capture that look on matts face... Paz was adorable... alot of the guys in the crowd were more focused on her short shorts i guess hehe... Jimmy was amazing as usual... Durring 2nd encore, Billy's dad came out.. billy called him "his real guitar hero" or something to that extent... they covered this song that i cant remember the name but it was real bluesy... its like 3 am and i cant think to well.. just a great show overall.. had so much fun...
