April 7, 2003 - Tabernacle - Atlanta, GA, US Concert review by Emily (ladieofjune8 at netscape dot net) The show got started a little late, but it was well, well worth it. I had been a fan of THE PUMPKINS, however I never had the opportunity to attend a concert before they split up. Monday night...I was within fifteen feet from the BEST rock and roll band known today. I have never seen a group perform that good with so much feeling and with all their heart. It was amazing! They faded in and out from song to song with ease and absolute perfection. Going to see Zwan live is something that lit a fire in me....Listening to the CD is wonderful, but you have not experienced any form of music that is anywhere near as spectacular as Jimmy, BILLY, Paz, Pajo, and Matt. After they came back on stage for the third time(they left once and the auidence cheered for more so they came back on and played another-then exited a second time to be brought back by the crowds'steady chant "ZWAN!,ZWAN!,ZWAN!") Billy said a few words including that Zwan could possibly return in a few months for the annual festival held in Atlanta. I don't see ZWAN settling down anytime in the near future to all of our delight...
