April 7, 2003 - Tabernacle - Atlanta, GA, US Concert review by Mathew Abercrombie (mathew-a at mindspring dot com) A band truly worth seeing! For anyone who loves the album, be prepared; it’s nothing compared to them live. They opened with ‘Jesus I’ which they molded into ‘God’s Gonna Set This World On Fire’, leaving ‘Mary Star Of The Sea’ until about half way through the set where it reared it’s head in a truly awesome display of musicianship. Zwan is definitely a live-jam band. Most of the current album was played, including some extra tracks such as ‘A New Poetry’ and a cover of the Beatle’s ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ worthy of the great Lennon himself. In short, if there are any skeptics still left out there, a trip to one show will lay and droughts to rest.
